This is my latest painting--a 12x12 oil painting on black canvas. I think it's really "Something to Crow About"! What a blast putting all this color on the rooster!
I am missing working with my live models, so have one coming on Monday. Come if you can.

I love your entry into the blog world.I am also an artist, learning from my mentor, Sara.For those of you who have not shared the live model experience, Sara's art studio is magical; large, airy and well lit. The pervasive mood is one that encourages creativity. In the event that I do not say this enough; Sara, your artwork is exciting, filled with bursts of emotions and colors, much like the colorful person you are!
